Liquidation items are “leftovers” — they have been on sale in a store or catalog, but may be past the season to sell them, or too few are left to maintain in inventory. For instance, a store may have only one color or size of a line of bags, and may decide the shelf space is more optimally used by a newer line of bags that have a larger assortment of styles and accessories.
